Hello - I'm Lori
As an end-of-life doula, I guide individuals through their final journey with deep compassion and unwavering presence. Through active listening and genuine connection, I create a sacred space where each person's unique path is honored and supported. My calling is to help others find peace in their transition while empowering families to have meaningful conversations about death and dying. Each experience has taught me profound lessons about life, love, and the delicate beauty of our mortality.

My practice warmly embraces all individuals, honoring every race, faith tradition, gender identity, and sexual orientation. Understanding that each journey is unique, I provide personalized care that adapts to your needs and circumstances. Whether you're facing a terminal diagnosis, processing grief, or planning, I offer steady support and gentle guidance throughout this profound transition.

My expertise is grounded in comprehensive training from the International End of Life Doula Association (INELDA) and certification from the Doulagivers Institute. I hold an end-of-life doula proficiency badge from the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance (NEDA). I am a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP). My ongoing work as a hospice volunteer deepens my understanding of this sacred role.

As a photographer, I've discovered the power of visual storytelling to preserve precious memories and celebrate life's meaningful connections. Through legacy photography, I help families create lasting tributes that capture the essence of their loved ones' stories.

In my personal life, I treasure time spent with my spouse, Kitty, our friends, and families. We love to travel, finding joy in both the journey and the destination. I come from a large, loving family on Long Island, NY, that I cherish and visit whenever possible.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about me and my work. I look forward to exploring how I might support you and your loved ones on this meaningful journey.

"Every day,
I hold space for my own losses with a gentle heart, embracing the lessons they have taught me."
