Hello - I'm Lori
As an end-of-life doula, I accompany others through this threshold—not to fix, not to save, but to be present. To listen deeply. To hold space with tenderness and calm when everything else feels uncertain.
I formed Compassionate Crossings for people like you—people navigating the unknown, aching with questions, seeking peace. Through gentle conversations, thoughtful guidance, and a steady presence, I help bring clarity and connection to what can feel like chaos.
My expertise is grounded in comprehensive training from the International End-of-Life Doula Association (INELDA) and certification from the Doulagivers Institute. I hold an end-of-life doula proficiency badge from the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance (NEDA). I am a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP). My ongoing work as a hospice volunteer deepens my understanding of this sacred role.
My approach is inclusive and heart-centered. I honor all identities, traditions, and beliefs. Everyone deserves dignity, compassion, and to feel seen at the end of life.
Whether you are planning, caregiving, grieving, or wondering what support could look like, I'm here when you're ready. You are not alone.

"Every day,
I hold space for my own losses with a gentle heart, embracing the lessons they have taught me."
